Origami Wreaths

My Christmas tree isn't up. My shopping isn't complete. Not a single present is wrapped. The stockings are not hung, even carelessly.

But, do I look worried? Do you see me dashing around in a frenzy? No way. I'm sitting quietly at the dining room table, looking out at the snow, cutting rectangles from assorted junk mail catalogs, folding origami wreaths for Christmas cards, and thinking all is well in my little world.

Should you wish to make your own little bits of happiness, you can find the folding instructions here.

  4. I was tickled and honored to receive one of your beautiful recycled wreaths in the mail today. I think the mailman kept it and put it on his tree, because it had definitely been opened. But I bet he got as much enjoyment out of it as I will through the new year, then it will be packed with all the other special ornaments that mean so much to me.

    Thank you beyond belief, Patty.

I like your origami wreaths. This is how origami can be eco-friendly :).
