Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Here is another envelope I made from my Emory & Henry magazine. My main goals on this blog are, of course, to find correspondents and to encourage others to write more letters. However, a secondary goal is to reduce the paper clutter that tends to accumulate around my house.
I admit it, I'm a paper junkie and certainly have pack rat tendencies. I save magazines and junk mail for my collage projects. I buy postcards, greeting cards and stationery at garage sales and thrift stores. So, I've promised myself to make do and use what I have on hand, at least for the rest of 2009. We'll see how that goes. Wish me luck.

Good luck! And awesome envelope.
ReplyDeleteI wish you luck. Just don't go shopping. It's so much easier not to buy when you haven't seen that latest art supply that calls out "buy me".
