Introducing "Just Letter Rip"

Back in April, I think, I happened across Ilona's blog, Missive Maven. It was National Letter Writing Month and she was encouraging people to write snail-mail letters. I love writing and receiving letters, so I did write to her. See Ilona's post for May 8, 2009.

Since then, I have continued to follow her blog and enjoy it immensely. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I began thinking I'd like to do a similar blog. It would cross my mind now and then, but I was busy with state-mandated testing, exams, and finishing out the school year. (June 17th, can you believe that?) Teachers worked the 18th, then I packed on the 19th and it was off to the coast for a week. While I was there, I was thumbing through a magazine looking for collage fodder and Serendipity struck. There was the title for my blog, just waiting for me to make the connection. And so I did, and here it is.
