Today I mailed out six postcrossing cards. All of them depict scenes from Washington, DC during Cherry Blossom time in early April. Aren't they gorgeous! And, for those of you who think I can't count, there was a duplicate of the last card.
The last four will make fantastic postage--much better than the current cherry blossom stamps--although I like the landscape design of the two stamps together.
Thanks for checking in, Ladies. Yes, indeed. Washington DC is a lovely, stately city. And Bobbie., you must admit the cherry blossom stamps are a big step up from the $1.05 monstrosity.
They are gigantic leaps over the flat $1.05 things. And the post office won't let me return them. :( Cannot bring myself to use them now that I've posted my two cents worth of criticism. LOL.

ReplyDeleteThey are really beautiful! We really do have a lovely Capitol don't we? Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI've been to DC several times, but never during cherry blossom season. I obviously need to change that!
